Green Juices For Spring Detox and General Betterment

Spring is still hanging around, reminding summer that it’s too early for it to bring hotness to our homes and cities, and that people still need time to detox from winter’s toxins and bring their bodies to balance and healthness. Each person has their own manners of taking care for themselves and building their strong healthness (health and wellness) life. Detoxifying your body from time to time, as an addition to a balanced and nutritional diet, is necessary. Except drinking fruit or fruit-infused drinks, you can clean your organism with homemade natural juices.  These juices can satisfy your cravings for coffee and sweets – when your mind makes you think of these two vices, stop and think deeper. Let your organism be the brain in this process; think of what are your lacks. Usually, what you need is energy, and sugars and caffeine are the fastest way (in your head) to get it. However, fresh juices are full of the real nutrients that your body needs. So, here are some recipes that you can try at home as an alternative to the gut-harming, short-term energy boosting foods and drinks.

1.Cilantro and apple juice

  • 2 green apples
  • 2 stalks celery
  • Kale leaves
  • ½ cucumber
  • ¼ cup cilantro (use fresh)
  • ½ lemon

Extract the juices from the ingredients in a juicer and serve immediately. You can add a teaspoon of organic honey if you miss sweetness.

2.Aromatic basil juice

  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 1 cucumber, peeled
  • 1 lime, peeled
  • 1 green apple or pear

Press through a juicer and serve.

3.Parsley freshness juice

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 pear
  • ¼ cup fresh mint
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped and stems cut
  • 1 peeled lemon
  • 1 cup spinach

Press all ingredients through juice and serve immediately

4.Fennel seeds and apple juice  

  • 1 tsp. fennel seeds
  • 2 green apples
  • ½ cup carrot slices
  • Few fresh dill stalks
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 cup spinach

Prepare in a juicer and drink fresh.

5.Cabbage and lime juice

  • 1 cup grated or chopped fresh cabbage
  • 1 lime
  • 1 pear
  • Honey for sweetening, 1 tsp.

Juice everything in a juicer and sweeten with honey after it’s done.

6.Orange and spinach juice

  • 1 ½ cup fresh spinach
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 lime, peeled
  • ½ cup kale
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 1 scoop avocado
  • ¼ tsp. ginger

Mix freshies in the juicer and spice with ginger.
