Healthy And Delicious Sandwiches With No Bread

You like to eat sandwiches, but for reasons of gluten sensitivity or other reasons, such as low-carbohydrate diets, you do not eat bread. It may be the reason that you don´t like to buy bread at a grocery store or you may don´t have time to bake it at home, or you simply just don´t like bread. The great news is that you can make tasty and healthy sandwiches without bread, and you can use some vegetables as a substitute. The sandwiches can be enriched with excellent vegetable spreads that can be prepared using the revolutionary  5in1 machine MultiFresh ™.

These sandwiches are great for morning or evening meals but also as a snack. We’ll give you some suggestions, then you can use your creativity and come up with a new and unique recipe.

Ham rolls with Humus

Ingredients: 4 round slices of ham, 1 big cucumber, 125 g chickpeas, 20 ml lemon juice, 20 g tahini sauce, 1 clove of garlic, 0.25 tsp salt, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp water

Preparation: cut the cucumber in thin slices with peeling knife. Put process canned chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini sauce, garlic, olive oil, salt and water into Delimano MultiFresh´s food processor, use blade disc and select blending function (B). Grind the ham, grease with hummus, add the cucumbers and roll.

Hot pizza sandwich with zucchinis

Ingredients: 2 bigger green zucchini, chopped in circles of 1 cm, a pinch of salt and black pepper, 125 g ripe tomatoes, 1 tbsp olive oil, 50 g onion, 1 clove of garlic, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 0,5 tsp basil, 4 tbsp water, pepper, 60g of mozzarella, hot peppers, a pinch of oregano.

Preparation: First, prepare the tomato spread. Add tomato, onion, chopped garlic, basil, olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar and water to the MultiFresh™ heating jug.  Dial the HB (heat blend function), press button to start. And ta-dam! You’ve just cooked the best tomato sauce for the best sandwiches.  Put the zucchinis chopped in circles in baking pan, which is covered with baking paper. Put some salt and black pepper, and then place the ingredients like you are preparing regular pizza.

According to your own wish add the other ingredients. Put them in the oven heated at 200 degrees.

Vegetable rolls sandwiches

Ingredients: 60g of cashews soaked in water overnight, 3 green zucchinis, each of them gives 7 thin stripes, and 3 carrots chopped in thin sticks, 4 red radishes, and 1 avocado, peeled and chopped, a pinch of fresh parsley.

Preparation: Cashews soaked in water overnight can be easily turned into porridge when you put them in a MultiFresh´s food processor and use chopping blade. Wash the zucchinis and with peeling knife cut them in thin stripes, so you will be able to roll them. Cover the zucchinis with prepared ingredients and roll them.

Cucumber sandwiches with carrot dressing

Ingredients: 1 big cucumber, 200 g carrot, 1 hard boiled egg, a pinch of salt, 120 g plain yogurt

Preparation: Peel the cucumber and cut it in length in thin stripes with a peeling knife.  Put the carrots in MultiFresh´s food processor cup and use grating attachement (double blade disc). Put processed carrot, hard boiled egg, pinch of salt and plain yogurt in Delimano MultiFresh´s food processor and use blade disc and select blending function (B). Pour the dressing over the cucumber stripes, and roll. Another option is to make a canapé by cutting the cucumber in 1 cm slices, and then coat them with the dressing.
